Regular Season Round 7: Mornar - Cibona 92-85

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 15th ranked CroatianCibona (1-6) lost to sixteenth ranked Montenegrin Mornar (1-6) in Bar 85-92 on Monday. Mornar made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Branden Jenkins (196-1994, college: TxWes, agency: AltusBasket) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Canadian center Jaden Bediako (208-2000, college: Seton Hall) accounted for 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Jenkins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Power forward Filip Bundovic (206-1994) came up with 28 points (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and point guard Roko Rogic (187-1992) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Cibona in the defeat. Cibona's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mornar left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with defeated Cibona. It was Cibona 's fifth loss in a row.
